An intreview with a dolphin trainer (scamper writing)

Tommy Lai has one of the best jobs in the world -- or at least he thinks so! He's a dolphin trainer at Ocean Park. Find out more about Tommy and his fascinating job in the interview below.

How did you become a dolphin trainer?
I saw an advertisement in the newspaper. I thought it sounded like and usual and easy job so I applied. That was nearly five years ago.

What qualifications fo you need to become a dolphin trainer?
Most of the trainers have s degree -- I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In the past, most of the trainers studied overseas. However, these days there are more graduates from local unversities than from overseas universities. But, I myself graduates from a secondnary school!

What does a dolphin trainer actually do?
Well, one obvious answer is train dolphins. However, we spend less time doing this than people think. Our main responsibility is to look after the dolphins -- to make sure that they are happy and healthy. For example, the first thing I do every morning is to check their temperature and their weight, if they are too heavy, then I won't feed them too much. I also spend a lot of time feeding the dolphins, playing with them and cleaning the tanks. Dolphins are very playful. This is a picture of me stroking and playing with my favourite dolphin, Carrie.

How do you train a dolphin?
One of the first tricks we teach the dolphins is to touch a stick with their noses. That is the training stick over there. It's about half a metre long. You can see one in this shaking hands, touching the trainer's hands, singing and dancing. It takes a lot of time to learn tricks so the younger dolphins generally know fewer tricks then the older ones.

Would you recommend this job to other people?
Yes, definitely. It's easy work and very rewarding.

We went to the Fuk Lam church on 25th April,2008 at noon. And we have group discussion with the christian there, they are kind and nice. And we sang songs with them, too. I enjoy this trip, I know more about Jesus Christ in this church.

People at the rainbow bar are somking, drinking wine and kissing. Axl and another woman are one of them. Axl and the woman are playing piano together happily, when Stephanie come into the Rainbow bar. Stephanie is too angry to see that they are playing piano, so she go to hit the woman besides Axl.

Rising action
Slash love Stephanie , he don't want Stephanie be unhappy, so he go to kill the woman.
Later, Stephanie and Axl get marry in November. They marry at the church and have a wedding party after that.

Climax
It is raining when they are having the wedding party. Suddenly, someone take out a gun, and kill Stephanie.

Falling action
After Axl buried Stephanie, he was too hurt, so he started to take drugs.

Resolution
At last, Axl takes too much drugs so he died also.

My story's theme is jealous. This story is about a pair of twin. The elder sister, Jenny, is good at everything and she is very beautiful. The younger sister, Jenna, always fail to do anything and you is ugly, nobody loves her, except her elder sister, Jenny. Although Jenna knows Jenny loves her, but she hates Jenny, she is jealous of Jenny.

After I read ugly duckling, i think "unlucky" is another big theme besides bullying.

One day, the teacher said we will recive our report card very soon.
"Oh! Piggy, I think my result will be bad! I will be the worst in the class! "said Jo. "No, Jo, if you have tried your best to do your exam well, you will be good! " said Piggy.
"No! ", said Jo, angrily, " I will be the last in the class! All the classmates are better than me, I am the worst! "
Piggy said " No, Jo, trust yourself! If you trust yourself that you are good, than you are good! Don't need to worry about your results, just trust yourself, you are good, you are the best! "
Jo said "NO!!!!!!!!!!" "I am the worst!!!!!" "I will be the last!!!"
Piggy said "No, Jo, if you think you are the best, then you will be the best! But, if you think you the worst, then you will be the worst! So, just think you are the best! You should have confidence to be the best but not the worst. "
Jo said "Ok I will try my best. I will try my best to be the best! " "I should have confidence! "
The next day, the teacher come into the classroom, and said" Great job, Jo, you have done a great job in this exam! You are the best in the class! "
Everybody clap their hands and said " congratulations, Jo! "
